Who are we?

Allow us to introduce ourselves

We are Ben & Miryam Andriessen. Ben is a Dutchman, born in Baarn, The Netherlands, and Miryam hails from Wakefield, Yorkshire, U.K., presently residing in the North East of the U.K.

We joined FLP as Independent Distributors in May 1996 and together we are building a phenomenal home-based business.


Our story

After a short military career in the Royal Dutch Airforce, Ben travelled to Ghana in 1967 to equip and install scientific equipment in schools and hospitals. Here he met Miryam some years later and we married in 1976. We returned to the U.K. in 1981, where we owned and managed a small hotel in Devon. We became complementary therapists and pioneered in "nutritional therapy" - a rarity in those days.
After some time we moved to Canterbury and finally, in 1989, to the North East of England.

Financial worries

To supplement our income, we started a wine merchant's business in 1993, importing exclusive wines from Germany. The wines were delicious, and we sold plenty. However, rising costs and high investments in stock began to drain our resources.
Ben was working 60+ hours per week, just for the bank. Financially we were getting nowhere and without pension provisions, the future worried us greatly. We had dreams but could see no way in making them come true, and no way out of our financial challenges.
We realised we had to do something different … and fast.

In 1996 we made the amazing discovery that FLP could provide us with the right vehicle to achieve our dreams. We found that we could easily market FLP's exclusive health products without compromising our current business and, amazingly, without having to invest in stock!
For the past 12 years we have greatly benefited - and still do - from the products, as do many of our friends and family. Ben was suffering with digestive problems, but Aloe Vera Drinking Gel soon sorted that problem out!

We now have an ever growing independent networking business that spans the planet. We now enjoy an increasing residual income (without having to pay a single penny into a pension fund!), and all based on a lot of people doing a little, rather than us doing a lot .
